3D PIECE PLANNING- PLAN CHANGES

I decided to change the shape of the paleolithic lamp that I will be designing in order to make the manufacturing process easier for me. 

I started looking for existing lamps similar to the design that I wanted to create. This was the most similar design I could find on Argos.

Argos home satin stick table lamp - jet black

I will purchase this lamp and then use clay to create the figure of the design. I cannot create the base using stone as I am not familiar with how to do it, therefore, I will be using clay. 

This was the finished design in previous blogs.  However, with the new modifications, this is the design. Surprisingly, I really like the outcome of this. I think that the slim lampshade really compliments the overall shape. 

Now, I have to adjust the measurements of the design. 

Thankfully, my measurements were quite similar to the ones on the existing lamp design.
